Warranty

Polymer Workshop® Lifetime Warranty

Polymer Workshop® provides its customers with a lifetime warranty on Polymer Workshop® products purchased through the Polymer Workshop webshop or from an official Polymer Workshop retailer.

This warranty covers manufacturing and material defects for the lifetime of the original purchaser. The warranty is valid only for the original owner and is not transferable.

Repaired or replaced products under this warranty will continue to be covered under the original lifetime warranty.

Conditions and Limitations

The lifetime warranty does not cover:

  • Wear-and-tear parts: rim tape, freehub body, pawls, springs, bearings, decals, and stickers
  • Damage caused by incorrect mounting or incompatible parts
  • Damage from improper use, poor maintenance, or modifications
  • Damage from crashes, impacts, or abnormal external forces
  • Use of non-Polymer Workshop carbon spokes

The warranty is void if:

  • The product is modified or repaired by anyone not authorised by Polymer Workshop
  • Unauthorised spare parts are used
  • The product serial number is removed, altered, or rendered illegible
  • The product is part of a sponsorship or promotional agreement

How to Claim the Warranty

To make a claim, the customer must return the product along with valid proof of purchase (e.g., invoice) to Polymer Workshop or an official dealer.

Polymer Workshop will inspect the product and, if the claim is valid, will repair or replace the product free of charge.

Please remove all accessories (tyres, tubes, rim tape, cassettes, skewers, magnets, etc.) before sending your item. Polymer Workshop is not responsible for items left on returned products and may charge for their removal.

Shipping costs and transport insurance to and from the dealer or Polymer Workshop® are the responsibility of the customer.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by local law, Polymer Workshop® and its suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the product, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of use or income
  • Replacement costs
  • Claims by third parties
  • Damage to property

Polymer Workshop is also not liable for any delays in warranty service.

Polymer Workshop® Custom Made

Polymer Workshop® Custom Made wheelsets are manufactured to order. Full payment is required prior to assembly. Once production has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded. This is in accordance with §18(2)(c) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftalelovens §18, stk. 2, nr. 3), which exempts goods made to the customer's specifications from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal.

Polymer Workshop® Custom Made wheelsets are covered by the standard Polymer Workshop® Lifetime Warranty on manufacturing and material defects for the lifetime of the original purchaser.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused during assembly by a third-party builder not authorised by Polymer Workshop
  • Spoke, hub, or rim damage resulting from incorrect tension or incompatible components
  • Wear-and-tear parts: rim tape, freehub body, pawls, springs, bearings, and decals

To make a warranty claim, return the wheelset with proof of purchase to Polymer Workshop. Remove all accessories (tyres, rim tape, cassette, and valves) before shipping. Shipping costs to and from Polymer Workshop® are the responsibility of the customer.
